 As owners of The Downtowner, we have enjoyed the rewards it gives to our clients. 

We started our journey as business owners when we purchased Spinning Wheels Skate Center in October 1982. We operated the skating center for 23 years making many lifelong friendships. After a successful run, we decided to take a different turn in our journey. With our experience in hosting parties and our daughter, Michelle, being in the hair industry we decided to launch our new business The Downtowner. We wanted a nice affordable venue for the residents of Denton to host their special events. And, the private suites offer a relaxing experience for our clients.

After 7 months of renovation, we opened for business and have loved every minute of it. We fill the shoes of not only the owners, but the operators too!!
